🎵 JP Music Academy – Common Questions

 

Are lessons during school hours?
Yes. We visit your child’s school on the same day each week and take students out of class time to complete their lesson.

What is the difference between an Invoice and a Membership?

Invoice:

  • Calculated based on the number of weeks in the school term

  • Paid upfront each term

  • Rate: $27.50 per lesson + GST

Membership:

  • Processed through Ezidebit

  • $30 per week, charged every Friday throughout the year

  • Includes our holiday program

What happens if a student misses a lesson?
Lessons are still charged for absences. However, we can offer a make-up lesson or credit depending on the situation. Absences must be reported before the lesson starts to be eligible for a make-up lesson.

My child isn’t practising or showing much interest. What should I do?
Please contact us. We have a practice challenge program designed to help motivate students and keep them engaged with their learning.

Guitar & Ukulele Students
Please ensure your child brings their instrument to school for each lesson.

 

Music Packs
All students receive a music pack when enrolling. These must be brought to every lesson.
Cost: $80 (charged upon sign-up)

Your first lesson is free.

After you sign up, we will add your child to the timetable and set up the invoice or membership option you selected.

​

To continue lessons after the free trial, the invoice or membership must be finalised before the second lesson.

Please note that lessons may be paused if payments are not up to date. A late fee of $10 per week may apply to overdue accounts.
